This is another Gamma World origin designed around a character archetype rather than a mutation. You can see the other origins in this series here.
The Medic origin is a bigger departure from standard Gamma World origins, but I think that was necessary in order to properly represent the archetype. Rather than providing an at-will attack, the origin offers an at-will power to provide temporary hit points. I think this approach is okay because a character will have basic attacks, their second origin’s attack power, and omega tech, they should still have a good variety of attack options during any encounter.
In my early drafts, all three powers were healing-related but I ended up changing the expert power to an attack for the final version. While the three healing powers should work fine, I struggled to come up with a good way to differentiate the expert healing power from First Aid. If you’d prefer the origin to focus only on healing, then I think just offering an extra use of First Aid in place of the expert power should work fine.
You can download the Medic origin here.
